Homes Burglarized Near Lincoln Park

(Updated at 5 p.m.) Three homes were burglarized near Lincoln Park on Monday, police said.

A home on the 1300 block of C Street NE was robbed between 7:45 a.m. and 7 p.m., according to a report made to the First District.

Two blocks south, a home on the 1300 block of A Street NE was burglarized between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., police said.

A third home, just a block away, was struck at about 1:20 p.m. That home is on the 1400 block of A Street NE, police said.

Police did not immediately respond to an inquiry about whether the crimes are believed to be related.

First District police believe the two burglaries on A Street are related, First District Commander Jeff Brown said Wednesday afternoon. Detectives have information provided by witnesses, he added.

There is no indication the C Street burglary was related, Brown said.
