Police: Muggers Caught Near Union Station After Foot Chase
(Updated at 12:55 p.m.) Three accused robbers who pounced near Union Station were chased and arrested Monday night by First District police.
Officers received a call about 8:15 p.m. about a robbery on the unit block of G Street NE. Police raced to the area and saw three suspects who matched the descriptions they were given.
The suspects — one man and two boys — ran in three different directions, but First District officers chased them down, police said. All three suspects were arrested and charged with robbery, according to police.
Police declined to say what the suspects were accused of stealing from the victim.
