What to Know for Veterans Day on the Hill
The Concert for Valor will bring Bruce Springsteen, Dave Grohl and Rihanna to the National Mall — and spark street closings and Metro service changes.
The free concert is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday) and end at about 10 p.m., but attendees can stake out spots on the Mall starting at 10 a.m. Here’s how to get around town.
Metro
Blue Line service will be suspended all day and replaced by Yellow Line trains. A free shuttle bus will transport riders between Pentagon and Rosslyn from 5 a.m. until closing. The Smithsonian station will be closed. And nine stations near the mall will be open past midnight.
