Hill Pet of the Week: Mugsy

Mugsy is the Hill Pet of the Week. She’s a bulldog who likes treats, naps and dressing up. Here’s what her owner, Victor said:

Mugsy has spent nearly all her life on Capitol Hill. Since she turned 11 – pretty senior by bulldog standards – she fully expects that everyone should cater to her, and we do. She is generally sweet, unless she is not getting what she wants, and then she will let you know it. She enjoys naps, treats and humans, in no particular order, but especially humans with treats. She tolerates things like exercise and most other dogs, as long as they approach her as supplicants.

That said, she wants everyone to know how much she misses her brother, Chopper (pictured with her at the Arboretum). Now that the weather is turning cooler, she enjoys hanging around at various outdoor patios on the Hill with us, especially if we have brought snacks. She has her quirks, but to us, she is perfect.
