Sean Robinson smoked for 27 years. After trying to quit multiple times, e-cigarettes are what finally helped. That was a year ago, and in the coming days the Arlington resident will opening a shop that sells the cigarette alternatives.

Located at 646 H St. NE, District Vape Electronic Cigarette Boutique will carry the fire-less devices and the “juice” cartridges of flavored liquid with nicotine that accompany them.

“I’m a pretty disciplined person, and I’ve done a lot in my life, but I just couldn’t quit smoking,” said Robinson, 47. “I haven’t smoked a single cigarette since my first e-cigarette.”

The shop will sell cartridges in flavors including butterscotch, raspberry, pipe tobacco, banana, pineapple and custard. It’s scheduled to open in the next few days and hold a grand opening this weekend. Starter kits will start at $29, and the liquid solutions will range from $7.99 to $23 each.

“I wanted to have a good price point for beginners, because our mission is to get people off of tobacco,” Robinson said.
