The best coffee shop, restaurant, new business and more will be named at an upcoming awards ceremony.

The Hilly Awards gala will be held Saturday, Dec. 6 at St. Marks Church. The annual event hosted by the Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce (CHAMPS) honors the area’s best small businesses, which were nominated by locals and then selected by 1,500 voters.

“This is a good way for the Hill business leaders to get together and recognize the businesses that have succeeded and helped make the Hill what it is,” CHAMPS President Scott Magnuson said.
