Weekend Crime Report

Three violent crimes and 10 property crimes were reported within Ward 6’s First District boundaries over the weekend, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

Two robberies with guns and one unarmed robbery were reported:

• A robbery with a gun took place at North Capitol Street and K Street NW about 3:30 a.m. Saturday
• A robbery with a gun took place on the 600 block of 7th Street NE about 11:30 p.m. Saturday
• A robbery took place on the 400 block of 15th Street SE about 10 p.m. Saturday

Additionally, 10 property crimes were reported, including a car stolen overnight Saturday from the 1423-1479 block of F Street NE.

Six thefts from autos were reported on Sunday:

• Early Sunday morning, on the 600 block of K Street NW
• About midnight Sunday, on the 500 block of 11th Street SE
• Overnight Sunday, on the 600 block of 11th Street NE
• Overnight Sunday, on 9th Street NE and Maryland Avenue NE
• Overnight Sunday, on the 700 block of 10th Street SE
• Sunday afternoon, on the 200-999 block of L’Enfant Promenade SW

Further, three other thefts occurred:

• Saturday evening, on the 300-399 block of 7th Street SE
• About 5 p.m. Saturday, on the 500 block of 12th Street SE
• Saturday evening, on the 1-99 block of H Street NW
