Snow Expected to Dust the Hill Tomorrow
In time for Thanksgiving travel, or just hunkering down at home, the Hill is expected to see some snow tomorrow (Wednesday).
The National Weather Service forecasts a mix of rain and snow during the day. It is expected to turn into just snow before 8 p.m. and continue overnight. The “most likely” scenario for the District is receiving about an inch of accumulation. There’s a 43 percent chance that more than 2 inches of snow accumulate, the NWS says.
The last time D.C. had measurable snowfall prior to December was in Nov. 1996, according to The Washington Post.
