Frager’s Hardware, Peregrine Espresso Win Hilly Awards

The best businesses on Capitol Hill are Rose’s Luxury, Capitol Hill Yoga and Frager’s Hardware, according to honors given this weekend.

The Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce (CHAMPS) named the winners of the annual Hilly Awards at a gala Saturday night at St. Marks Church.

The winners were nominated by locals and then elected in a vote open to the public. Here’s who won:

Runner-Up: The Hill Center Old Naval Hospital

Bar/Tavern of the Year
Winner: Beuchert’s Saloon
Runner-Up: Hank’s Oyster Bar on Capitol Hill

Best New Business of the Year
Winner: Rose’s Luxury
Runner-Up: Sona Creamery and Wine Bar

Best New Restaurant of the Year
Winner: Rose’s Luxury

Cafe/Coffee Shop of the Year
Winner: Peregrine
