Hill Pet of the Week: Pumpkin Spice

Our Hill Pet of the Week comes via the Washington Humane Society. Pumpkin Spice is a year-old terrier and American Staffordshire mix with a ton of energy. Here’s the bio the New York Avenue NE shelter shared about him:

Hi, My name is Pumpkin Spice and as you can tell from my picture and name, I am so excited about this chilly fall weather! I am super playful and love going for hikes, runs, jogs … pretty much anything that’s active and outdoors. Not to toot my own horn, but I’m a pretty smart guy: I know sit, down and fetch, and I am so excited to learn more tricks! I’ve got a lot of energy (maybe I need to cut back on the pumpkin spice lattes), so I would be best in an active, dog-experienced home.

I LOVE people, and I just can’t wait to find my forever home. I’ve been here at shelter for quite some time now, so my adoption fee is waived! Now that’s a treat … even better than extra whipped cream on top of a yummy fall drink! If you think I’m the pup for you, stop by and meet me at our New York Avenue location!
