Hill East Road Redesign — Three designs for Southeast Boulevard to connect 11th Street SE to Barney Circle were proposed Thursday night by the Office of Planning. The construction could create a boulevard of two or four lanes, possibly with a narrow park in the median. [Capitol Hill Corner]

    I like proposal C for SE Blvd; keep some green space!!! With the proposed units (343?) near RFK and planned development along Anacostia, residents will need somewhere to throw a ball, walk a dog, etc.
    I have to wonder if they’re putting the cart before the horse, though, with DDOT not being prepared to discuss traffic load. Unless they’re of the “if you build it, they will come” mindset…?
