A five-month-old English bulldog named Kermit is the Hill Pet of the Week. He can be spotted roaming the H Street corridor. Here’s what his owner shared about him:

Hi, my name is Kermit and I’m a five-month-old English Bulldog. My dad’s name was Mr. Toad, so my handlers in Virginia decided to name me Kermit! My adopted parents picked me as their first puppy just before Thanksgiving and I love them immensely for it! I’m still very bullheaded and too rambunctious of a puppy to learn commands, but I love to play fetch. I came from a farm, so I’m still getting used to all the sights and sounds of city life!

I love kids and meeting new friends on the street. I also love cheering on the Baltimore Ravens with my mom, who met my dad in Baltimore! I can’t wait to see their nephews again over the holidays this month so we can play all day and snuggle in front of their fireplace! I’m also looking forward to my first summer in D.C. so I can play on the Mall and explore the city more with my parents on longer walks. We love DC!
