The Hill Pet of the Week is Jasper, a rescue cat found during a thunderstorm. Jasper is the first cat to be featured, after 10 weeks of dogs! Here’s what his owner sent about him:
My name is Jasper and I’m a gray cat. I was a stray kitten who randomly wandered into my mom and dad’s lives during a thunderstorm. That day was the best!
I must be part dog because I love playing fetch with rubber bands. I also love not playing with actual cat toys that my parents buy me, following my parents around the house but sitting just out of arms reach and waking my mom and dad up by biting their toes under the bed covers.
I don’t make it outside much because I’m scared of everything and when I see another animal, my tail gets really bushy. But I love watching all the people in Nats Stadium through my apartment window!
