Noise Advisory Issued for Southwest

Two ultra high-tech aircraft will land today at Fort McNair.

Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall issued a noise advisory for Thursday afternoon and evening. MV-22 Ospreys will land at the base first between 12:45 and 2 p.m. and then between 5 and 5:30 p.m.

Transformer-like, the Osprey takes off and lands like a helicopter, and its parts can be rotated in mid-flight so it can fly like a high-speed, high-altitude plane.
