‘Veep’ Filming Near the Capitol This Week

If you spot TV cameras near the Capitol, National Mall or White House this week, they could be filming for “Veep.”

The HBO show will be shooting tomorrow and Friday between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m., the D.C. Office of Motion Picture and Television Development announced. Here’s where you may see crews:

3rd St NW/SW between Constitution and Independence Ave (driving shots only)
12th St NW between Constitution and Pennsylvania Ave
East sidewalk of 15th St NW between New York Ave and E St
West sidewalk of 17th St NW between Pennsylvania Ave and Constitution Ave
North sidewalk H St NW between 15th and 17th St
Pennsylvania Ave NW between 3rd and 15th St (driving shots only)
Pennsylvania Ave NW between 15th and 17th St

Just don’t expect to see Selina Meyer or Gary Walsh — crews plan to shoot only landscape shots, the notice from the city said.
