National Opera to Feature ‘Cinderella’ at Nationals Park
You can watch the National Opera perform for free, right in Navy Yard.
A simulcast performance of the Washington National Opera putting on “Cinderella” will be broadcast in the ballpark May 16, the opera announced.
The company will perform the Rossini version of the comedy, in Italian with English subtitles. The performance will be the seventh annual “Opera in the Outfield” show.
It will take place at 7 p.m., rain or shine, with seating in the stands and on the grass of the outfield.
Tickets to see the show in person at The Kennedy Center will run from $25 to 300 each.
