Freezing Winds and Maybe Some Snow Expected This Weekend

Tonight will be very cold, and we might get some snow Sunday.

The forecast calls for blustery winds up 39 mph tonight and a low of 24 degrees. We’ll get some sun during the day Saturday, but wind gusts still as high as 23 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

There’s a 50 percent chance of snow and rain on Sunday after 1 p.m., but it likely won’t be more than a dusting, the Capital Weather Gang says. The strong winds are expected to relent by then.
