Our Hill Pet of the Week comes to us via the Washington Humane Society. He’s a small, snuggly beagle in need of an adoptive home. Here’s the bio the New York Avenue NE shelter shared:
Meet Sesame Seed! He is a comedian, silly and animated and the center of attention. No one’s a stranger — he loves attention from everyone. He is so social and so engaging. He is easy to please — loves balls, bones, stuffed toys … he doesn’t want for much. He’ll crawl right up into your lap while you’re at your desk if you let him … and will lean into your chest and nuzzle his head in your neck while you’re trying to do work on your computer (and then you feel slightly betrayed when you realize that he does that with everyone, not just you).
He’ll let you pick him up and carry him in your arms. He’ll follow you across the hall without hesitation; all you have to do is call for him. He is young and playful and full of life, but one of our favorite things about him is the other side to him — the abundance of sweet affection he gives. He so loves giving and receiving affection. He will melt into your arms or your lap and be perfectly content with doing nothing but being close to you. He’ll stare straight up at you with those big brown eyes of his … no lack of connection there … he is completely endearing.
