She said the Hine School redevelopment process was too far along to intervene, and suggested that Potomac Gardens less urgently needs renovations than other public housing complexes in the District. Eastern Market Relocation Dates — Frager’s Hardware will vacate its outdoor space on 7th Street SE by March 22. The flea markets will be relocated to make way for Hine School redevelopment work “sometime in April.” [Capitol Hill Corner]

H Street Entrepreneur Fights to Get His Dog Back — The owner of Little Miss Whiskey’s filed a lawsuit against the D.C. government, police and the Washington Humane Society in a bid to get his beloved doberman back, his lawyer said. Mark Thorp was charged with animal cruelty and drug possession last week. His complaint says he suspects ANC 5D Commissioner Kathy Henderson requested the search of his home. [Washingtonian]
