Gracie and Sam are our Hill Pets of the Week. They’re Texas transplants fascinated by ChapStick, pens and humidifiers. Here’s what their owner Mia shared about them:
After a harrowing cross-country move (and learning everything really is bigger in Texas), adopted rescues Gracie and Sam are settling into their new Capitol Hill lifestyle.
Fit for D.C., Grace is always dressed to the nines in her tux. With his chic white kitty mane and razor-sharp claws, Sam has maintained a sophisticated, yet casual Hill look.
While the geography of our home has changed, some things have stayed the same. Sam still loves to guard the food bowl, and Grace continues to commandeer pens and tubes of ChapStick for play from her unknowing, and distracted pet parents.
Other shenanigans include Sam’s never-ending pursuit of his own tail, watching the humidifier share its humidity, and sitting in Amazon Prime boxes after they’ve been emptied.
We all love living here and can’t wait to meet new friends on Capitol Hill!
