Hill Pet of the Week: Kena

Our Hill Pet of the Week comes to us via the Washington Humane Society. Kena is a 3-year-old American Staffordshire and border collie mix in need of an adoptive home. Here’s the bio the New York Avenue NE shelter shared:

Hiya, my name’s Kena! I’m a medium-energy sweetie pie who’s looking for a new forever home. Do you think you could be my perfect match? I may seem a little timid at first, but give me just a moment and I’ll be your snuggly new best friend. I’m a more mature lady, so with me you don’t have to worry so much about all that crazy bounciness that these younger pups will give you. That doesn’t mean I won’t need any training — nobody’s perfect! But I will say that I’m a pretty awesome gal overall.

To adopt Kena or another pet from the Humane Society, see the Petango adoption site or call 202-576-6664.
