Signage Is Up at &Pizza on Barracks Row

The local chain &pizza is inching closer to opening on 8th Street SE.

The &pizza logo is now posted at the restaurant’s future location on Barracks Row, just south of the Starbucks near the Eastern Market Metro station.

&pizza worked with ANC 6B earlier this year to agree on a plan for noise, trash and cooking odors, as Capitol Hill Corner reported.

The company did not immediately respond to an inquiry about the opening date of the 405 8th St. SE restaurant. The trade publication Pizza Marketplace reported last month that &pizza plans to open the Barracks Row spot in the first half of the year.
