Capitol Hill Businesses Fill City Paper’s ‘Best of D.C.’

The “Best Cocktail Menu to Make You Feel Smart,” the “Best Place for a Non-Judgmental Manicure” and other members of Washington City Paper’s annual “Best of D.C.” issue can be found around Capitol Hill.

Copycat Co. (1110 H St. NE) received the “Best Cocktail Menu” nod, and Angelo M (615 Pennsylvania Ave. SE) claimed the “Non-Judgmental Manicure” honor in the 2015 “Best of D.C.” edition, which came out today. City Paper featured about a dozen Capitol Hill area businesses as staff picks in this year’s issue.

Other winners included:

  • Sammy Lee Tailor Shop (615 Pennsylvania Ave. SE), “Best Washington Tailor for D.C. Residents.”
  • Micho’s Lebanese Grill (500 H St. NE), “Best Fast Casual Restaurant.”
  • Unique Eyebrows in Union Station (50 Massachusetts Ave. NE), “Best Eyebrow Threading.”
  • Washington Project for the Arts (10 I St. SW), “Best Over-the-Hill Makeover.”
  • Mr. Henry’s (601 Pennsylvania Ave. SE), “Best New Old Jazz Venue.”
  • Little Miss Whiskey’s Golden Dollar, (1104 H St. NE), “Best Value Whiskey Pour.”
  • Wisdom (1432 Pennsylvania Ave. SE), “Best Twist on a Gin Rickey.”
  • The Big Board (421 H St. NE), “Best Terrible Gimmick.”
  • Bluejacket, (300 Tingey St. SE), “Best Brewery.”
