Suspected H Street NE Thieves Caught on Video
Two suspected thieves were caught on surveillance video after police say they robbed someone over the weekend on the H Street corridor.
The suspects, who appear to be juveniles, were caught on multiple cameras running down streets and alleys after police said they robbed a person about 3 p.m. Sunday on the 900 block of H Street NE.
One of the suspects wore a dark-colored shirt and pants. The other suspect wore a white shirt and had a dark-colored coat or shirt tied around the waist.
Unarmed robberies are up this year in Police Service Area 104, which includes the 900 block of H Street NE. District crime statistics show 23 unarmed robberies in the area from Jan. 1 to April 15, compared to seven during the same period the previous year.
