‘Grease,’ ‘Footloose’ to Show at Free Outdoor Film Series in NoMa

The list of movies you can watch al fresco this summer in NoMa is out.

“Footloose,” “Grease” and 10 other films will be screened for free starting May 27. The NoMa Business Improvement District released the lineup yesterday after locals voted on the selections. The theme is “Dance, Dance, Dance.”

Here are the films:

• “Dirty Dancing” on May 27.

• “Center Stage” on June 3.

• “Bride & Prejudice” on June 10.

• “Flashdance” on June 17.

• “Strictly Ballroom” on June 24.

• “Grease” on July 1.

• “Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo” on July 8.

• “Singing in the Rain” on July 15.

• “Save the Last Dance” on July 22.

• “Moulin Rouge” on July 29.

• “Stomp the Yard” on Aug. 5.

• “Footloose” on Aug. 12.

The movies start at 7 p.m. in the Storey Park lot at 1st and L streets NE. Coolers, dogs on leashes and kids are welcome.
