Capitol Hill Volunteer Fair Coming this Weekend
Local organizations including DC Diaper Bank, Capitol Hill Village and Jan’s Tutoring House are looking for help.
More than three dozens organizations will be at the Hill Center’s “Volunteer Capitol Hill” fair Saturday. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., interested residents can meet representatives from the organizations at the Old Naval Hospital (921 Pennsylvania Ave. SE), the home of the Hill Center.
“Whether you are looking to make a difference in the community, develop new job skills, make new friends or spend quality time with family, Volunteer Capitol Hill 2015 offers opportunities to match your availability, skills and interests with an organization,” an event notice said.
