Barracks Row’s ‘Taste of 8th’ to Serve Samples From 28 Local Businesses

The annual “Taste of 8th” is back Saturday with food samples from more than two dozen Barracks Row restaurants and shops.

Cava will serve up the lollipop lamb chops. Matchbox will give out the mini burgers. Nana Thai will prepare the Northern Thai Nam Tok salads.

Medium Rare, District Doughnut, Spring Mill Bread Co., The Sweet Lobby, Souk and Capital Teas will have food to try, too. Chat’s Liquors also will be on hand with pours of Chateau Margaux Premier Grand Cru Classe 2002, a red wine from France.

People who volunteer at Taste of 8th will receive free tickets. Otherwise, a ticket costs $5 for one sample or $20 for five samples.

Taste of 8th, which is organized by Barracks Row Main Street, is set to run from 1 to 4 p.m.
