Prince is the Hill Pet of the Week. He’s a 5-year-old tabby whose purrs are “10 times better than any white noise machine.” Here’s the bio shared by the Washington Humane Society shelter on New York Avenue NE:
Hello, royal subjects! I’m Prince, also known as the Prince of Purrs.
Let me tell you a bit about myself. That “Prince of Purrs” name? Totally true. I’ll curl up next to you and just purr away. Do you need a white noise machine to sleep? My purrs are 10 times better than any white noise machine. My foster mama also says I’m the best biscuit maker this side of the Mississippi. And no worries on the scratching front; I’m remarkably tolerant when it comes to trimming my nails. I love snuggles, wet food and sitting quietly contemplating the universe.
