Barracks Row Main Street, the nonprofit organization dedicated to 8th Street’s revitalization, is slated to host its annual garden party fundraiser June 3. The event at the Amway House (419 New Jersey Ave. SE) will feature food from Barracks Row restaurants Senart’s Oyster & Chop House, Cafe Kimchi, The Chesapeake Room and Ambar.

Jon Genderson, owner of Schneider’s of Capitol Hill, also will serve the Barracks Rower, a gin-based summertime drink, Barracks Row Main Street spokeswoman Sharon Bosworth said. But she declined to elaborate on the cocktail’s ingredients, saying partygoers will have to wait until the fundraiser to learn more about it.

A single ticket for the gathering is $125 online, while three tickets are $250. The party runs from 6 to 8 p.m.

“It’s always a fun event,” Bosworth said.
