Councilman Allen to Meet With Locals at H Street NE Bar

Capitol Hill-area residents can grab a beer with Councilman Charles Allen of Ward 6 tomorrow on the H Street corridor.

Allen is slated to be at Smith Commons (1245 H St. NE) for happy hour. Locals can talk to him and members of his staff about neighborhood issues from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Residents can RSVP online. But walk-ins are welcome, too.

Allen regularly has informal gatherings with locals around Ward 6. In the past, he has heard from residents at Curbside Cafe in Hill East and the Starbucks in the Safeway in Southwest.
