Tour De Fat Bicycle and Beer Festival Returns to Navy Yard

Tour De Fat, the bicycle-centric beer festival sponsored by New Belgium Brewing, is returning to D.C. on May 30 at Yards Park in Southwest. The event will feature a costumed bicycle ride around the Southwest and Capitol Hill neighborhoods, before returning to Yards Park for beer and live music.

The festival was started in Fort Collins, Colo., to increase awareness and participation in cycling as a sustainable form of transportation according to the New Belgium Brewery Website. The event also raises support for the Washington Area Bicyclist Association and other advocacy-focused nonprofits in the region.
