Weekend Crime: Woman Makes Sexual Comments Near H Street Corridor, Hurls Bricks at Victims

A woman hit another woman in the head with a brick near the H Street corridor late Friday night, after the attacker directed sexually explicit remarks at the victim and another person.

The assailant struck on the 900 block of 8th Street NE about 11:30 p.m. Friday, police said.

The suspect first approached the victims and made sexual comments. She then threw several bricks at them, striking one of the victims in the head.

That victim sustained minor injuries, police said.

Victoria Rorie, 28, was arrested for simple assault in connection with the attack. Information on her lawyer wasn’t immediately available.

In addition to the robbery at a CVS on H Street NE Saturday, other Capitol Hill-area crime over the weekend included a stabbing Sunday.

A man stabbed a man on the 2400 block of East Capitol Street SE, near RFK Stadium, police said. The men were arguing before the attack happened about 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

The victim was hospitalized, police said.

German Chinchilla, 25, was arrested for assault in connection with the stabbing. Information on his lawyer wasn’t immediately available.
