&Pizza May Come to 8th Street SE This Summer

Barracks Row may have a new place to eat pizza within the next few months.

The local chain &pizza is “hoping” to open a restaurant at 405 8th St. SE this summer, the fast-casual eatery tweeted today. The message came after an inquiry from Eat It All, which tweets about D.C. restaurants.

“We’re making great progress,” &pizza tweeted.

Signage for the future &pizza location has been up since at least March.

The chain has a dozen locations in the D.C. area, including the H Street corridor.
