Mia’s Coffeehouse at 101 15th St. NE is scheduled to open June 29, said Jeff Lee, who is running the pet-friendly cafe with his wife, Jenohn.

The cafe’s menu will feature pour-over coffee and sandwiches for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Mia’s also will have treats for dogs.

The Lees plan to have free cappuccinos, horchata and other beverages, as well as free cotton candy for children, two days before the coffeehouse’s June 29 opening.

The free drinks and cotton candy will be available from 9 to 11 a.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. on June 27.

Normally, the coffeehouse’s hours will be 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, Mia’s will serve customers between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. It will be closed Sundays.

In addition to coffee and sandwiches, the cafe will have tea, breakfast pastries and rice bowls, among other items, Lee said.

Located in the former Bella Market space, Mia’s will have seating for about 20 people inside and 25 people outside.
