Councilman Charles Allen Marching in Pride Parade

Capitol Hill-area residents can celebrate gay pride with Councilman Charles Allen of Ward 6 this weekend.

Allen is looking for locals to join him in the Capital Pride Parade Saturday. The parade starts at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow, but residents should meet him about 2 p.m. near 22nd and P streets NW.

Interested locals can RSVP online.

Participants will walk 1 1/2 miles from Dupont Circle to 14th Street NW with more than a hundred groups, including Borderstan, Hill Now’s sister website, and supporters of Potomac Phil, D.C.’s favorite non-living groundhog.
