Persons of Interest in Violent 1st Street NW Attack Caught on Video
A group of people wanted for attacking someone and leaving him on a sidewalk near the Northwest One Neighborhood Library this week have shown up on video.
Police are looking for five persons of interest in connection with the aggravated assault on the 1000 block of 1st Street NW, about a block from the library. The attack happened about 11 p.m. Monday.
A video police released yesterday appears to show five men running after the victim before he fell down on a sidewalk. One of the men then appeared to punch the victim in the face.
As the victim laid on the ground, some of the men appeared to rummage through his clothes before they fled.
The victim was hospitalized, police said.
