Woman Shoots Cabbie in Hill East

Two women are wanted in the shooting of a taxi driver near Eastern High School yesterday morning.

The shooting happened on the unit block of 17th Street SE about 4:15 a.m. Sunday, police said.

One of the women shot the cabbie in the back, police said. Both of the women were the man’s passengers.

The taxi driver was hospitalized, police said.
