Car Hits Pedestrian in Navy Yard

A pedestrian was struck near the intersection of South Capitol and I streets SE this morning.

The D.C. Fire and EMS Department tweeted about 11 a.m. the victim was hit by a vehicle. By 11:30 a.m., the pedestrian was en route to a hospital.

The victim had non-life-threatening injuries, according to the D.C. Fire and EMS Department.
