New Details on Fatal Metro Train Stabbing — Recent American University graduate Kevin Joseph Sutherland was cut or stabbed 30 or 40 times in a fatal July4 attack on a train at the NoMa-Gallaudet University Metro station, according to new court documents. Jasper Spires, 18, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder while armed in connection with the slaying. [Washington Post]
