Construction Begins on Buffalo Wild Wings in Navy Yard

Buffalo Wild Wings is one step closer to opening a restaurant near Nationals Park.

The D.C. Department of Consumer Regulatory Affairs on Monday issued a “tenant layout permit” to the sports bar chain, allowing it to begin construction on a Buffalo Wild Wings at 1220 Half St. SE. The space is just south of the Navy Yard-Ballpark Metro station.

Builders were working on the restaurant today when Hill Now visited. But an opening date was not immediately available from Buffalo Wild Wings.

This eatery will be the chain’s first restaurant in the District.
