Pedestrian Struck in Navy Yard

(Updated at 4:20 p.m.) A car hit a pedestrian near Nationals Park in Navy Yard this afternoon.

The collision happened on the unit block of M Street SE about 3:30 p.m., a D.C. Fire and EMS Department spokesman said.

The pedestrian was hospitalized with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
