Bowser to Celebrate Her Birthday With H Street Corridor Fundraiser

Mayor Muriel Bowser will celebrate her birthday with supporters on the H Street corridor tonight.

Maketto at 1351 H St. NE will host a party for Bowser, who is using the occasion to raise money for her constituent service fund. The event is free, but a check donation between $25 and $500 is encouraged.

The party will run from 6 to 8 p.m.

Maketto is “one of the coolest places in the city to hold an event” for the the mayor, who is turning 43 years old Aug. 2, Bowser spokeswoman LaToya Foster said.

“H Street is on the rise,” she said. “It’s flourishing.”
