Hill Pet of the Week: Jazz

Jazz is the Hill Pet of the Week. She’s a 12-year-old papillon mix, who came to D.C. from St. Croix, Virgin Islands. Here’s her bio shared by her owner, Nan Raphael:

She loves marching in the 4th of July parade; going to Congressional Cemetery, Lincoln Park and military band concerts at the Capitol; shopping at Union Station, Groovy and Homebody; sitting with me at any one of our many cafes; and visiting residents of the Specialty Hospital of Washington as a volunteer for People Animals Love. She’ll even come with me to Columbia Flute Choir rehearsals.

She’s the belle of Capitol Hill with more “boyfriends” than I can count on two hands. She still has a special affinity toward those who are unfixed, even at the ripe old age of 12.
