Man Breaking Into Car Near NoMa Caught on Video
A man who broke into a car near NoMa has appeared on video.
Police are looking for the man in connection with the destruction of property on the 1100 block of Abbey Place NE. The incident happened about 5:30 a.m. on July 26.
Video police distributed today in connection with the property destruction shows a man peering into a parked car before crossing a street to look into another parked vehicle.
At the second car, he appeared to use a flashlight to see inside the vehicle. Eventually, he grabbed what appeared to be a rock and threw it at one of the car’s rear passenger windows.
Next, the man reached through the window and grabbed some items, which he threw on the ground. The man then reached into the car again before he walked away from the vehicle.
