Car Crash Near Nationals Park Injures One Person

A car crash near Nationals Park sent someone to a local hospital this afternoon.

The collision happened at South Capitol and N streets SE, the D.C. Fire and EMS Department tweeted about 3 p.m.

The person was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

It wasn’t immediately clear if the person was driving a car. It also wasn’t clear how many vehicles were involved in the crash.

A D.C. Fire and EMS spokesman couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.
