Persons of interest sought in a shooting and a knife attack in the Capitol Hill area this summer have appeared on video.

The shooting happened near the H Street corridor on July 25, police said. The knife assault occurred about two blocks east of the U.S. Capitol on Aug. 8.

In the shooting, a bullet grazed a woman’s head on the 700 block of 16th Street NE, according to authorities. The victim was in a parking area behind the Pentacle Group Apartments when she was shot. She was hospitalized for her injury.

Police are looking for a man with dreadlocks in connection with the shooting. He was last seen riding a bicycle.

Video authorities released yesterday in connection with the shooting shows someone in a light-colored shirt and dark pants running through a parking lot. The person then slowed down and appeared to fire at least four shots from a gun.

In the knife attack, a man brandished a knife at someone during an argument in a store on the 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE, police said.

Video authorities distributed yesterday in connection with the incident shows a young man with a white polo shirt and blue jeans walking around a store. At one point, the young man pulled out a knife and flashed it at a man who seemed to work at the shop.

The man who appeared to work at the store then backed away.
