Man Wanted in Theft from Home Near H Street Corridor Caught on Video

A man sought in a theft from a Near Northeast house has appeared on video touching a package on the home’s porch.

The theft occurred at a house on the 600 block of F Street NE about 4 p.m. Monday, police said.

Video authorities distributed today in connection with the theft shows a bald man with glasses walking up to the home and sitting on the steps to the house’s porch.

While sitting, he reached over to a package, moved it slightly and ran one of his hands over it.
