Masked Thieves Rob Man at Gunpoint in Hill East

Three masked men with a gun robbed a man near RFK Stadium last night.

The robbery happened on the 1800 block of A Street SE about 11:30 p.m., police said.

The victim was in the area when the three men approached him and ordered him to give them his cellphone, according to authorities.

One of the thieves flashed a handgun, and they took the man’s cellphone and backpack. They then ran away on foot.
