Canal Park Outdoor Movie: ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’
Canal Park (200 M St. SE)
Time: 7-10 p.m.
Have a picnic and see “To Kill A Mockingbird” for free as part of the Canal Park Outdoor Movie Series.
Friday
M and 4th streets SW
Time: 4-9 p.m.
An Asian-inspired market with crafts, antiques, live music and food trucks will take over a lot near the Waterfront Metro station.
Saturday
Second Annual Dragon Boat Regatta
Southwest Waterfront
Time: 9 a.m.
Teams of 20 people will race in long “dragon” boats along the Southwest waterfront throughout the day. Beer and food will be available for purchase at The Wharf.
Sunday
Northeast Neighborhood Library (330 7th St. NE)
Time: 2-5 p.m.
The first-ever D.C. library branch block party will feature crafts, face painting, a balloon artist and storytelling.
