Where to Get Free Snow Cones on Capitol Hill Tomorrow

Capitol Hill residents and visitors looking to beat the heat tomorrow can grab a free snow cone near the U.S. Capitol.

The Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council plans to hand out the treats at Delaware Avenue and D Street NE from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, according to an email from the group.

The organization, which lobbies for small business owners, is serving the snow cones as part of a campaign to secure congressional support for legislation that would prohibit state and local governments from imposing taxes on Internet access.
